Olio E Farina - Pizza Tasting Room

"We have wanted to try Olio & Farina for a while now.It is very nicely decorated and has a bar. My husband and I both decided to try the pizza tasting experience. We both really enjoyed trying flavors that we would never have ordered. The Apps and Caesar salad were delicious. As was their crust!! Three types of dessert pizza!!! Our server Dane was great as were everyone working tonight. We are looking forward to stopping again. I would probably just order a margherita pizza and salad!!"

"Great experience. Lovely ambiance. The food was amazing! Daan our waiter was really nice and Oscar was very knowledgeable about all the ingredients in the pizzas. Will definitely come back. Our bill came out to $44 per person. We had two alcoholic drinks, 3 appetizers, 1 soup, 13 savory pizzas and 3 dessert pizzas."

"There had been a lot of hype about this place, so I went with some cousins to check it out. Overall, the experience wasn't the best due to partly the staff but also the weather. Something to keep in mind is that regardless of how much or what you plan to eat, you will be charged 24.95. The meal starts off with their appetizers, which consist of 1 meatball per person, 1 arancini per person, and a tomato soup shot. The tomato soup was amazing, and the arancini was pretty tasty, too. The meatballs texture was a little off. It's a very soft meatball, but the sauce that came with it was pretty good. The salad was extremely bitter due to it being overdressed and the dressing being almost all vinegar. The pizza came out very slow, and only the manager came around with the pizza. Some of the pizzas were delicious while others just fell flat. The worst pizza we had was the steak pizza, the chimichurri sauce on it was just all kinda of wrong, it had a vinegar taste and it's was almost like they pickled the sauce and the steak was like paper thin beef jerky. The berries and marscapone pizza was another disappointment. It tasted like a danish and was just overly sweet. The only pizza I would recommend or want to go back for would be the cauliflower and kale. It was by far the favorite of our table. I know this business is newer and still working out soem kinks, but there are some drastic changes needed to the favor profiles and recipes. Also, the staff was friendly, but the manager did not have the best customer service skill set. While we were there, the power was knocked out by an incoming storm. Some people had barely made it through their appetizers when this happened, so if they did get pizza, it was maybe one or two slices. The manager was trying to charge them full price and the customers were confused. The manager made a scene and started speaking angrily in Spanish. I know it's a new restaurant but it's not a place myself or my cousins will be returning to. The food was off, the wait for the food was not worth it and the managers' actions did not make it a good experience."
