"First time here and didn't know what to get. I ordered the fish plate. It was very good, the fries were awesome. I ordered the brisket but it looked like pork? Not sure if order was wrong, but it had a lot of grease and did not like it too much. It was good but presentation I guess. Expected beef brisket. All in all, I would order fish plate again and may try other. This was ordered through outside window and took about 15 minutes, they were little busy"

"Wow! This is the definition of Mom and Pop restaurant. When we approached, I could smell the good food outside. Most people order from the window, but my party of four went inside. When asked what was good, the lady said that everything was good. She was funny and sassy. We ordered a LOT of food as the food was cheap and we wanted to try a little of everything. Wow! Amazing food!!!! (I got their special of hot cheetos and melted cheese. You could pass on that.) The burgers were good. The fries were good. Everything about this place screams wholesome. I will be back!"

"Glass Kitchens is a signature restaurant of Laredo since 1951. Long considered one of the best if not the best hamburgers in town. Meat patties are still made by hand. The burgers never disappoint, are delicious and made to your liking. Oh those succulent onion rings. The bbq burger is just as delicious. Many of the loyal customers often order a big burger basket and a taco on the side. Did I mention the tasty onion rings! Just before you walk out, order one of the thickest shakes in South Texas. Good eats!"
