"usually they are rude, but if the foods good i dont complain. the quality and size of the pizza has gone down. this particular pizza i ordered tonight was the worst yet. pizza wasnt fully cooked and look at the size of the crust. disappointed to say the least. and yes this was the large, i ended up paying 30$ for this."
"What a neighborhood gem! We were visiting from out of town and looking for a gluten-free pizza. I read some reviews and they did not disappoint. We ordered pepperoni, peppers and black olives. SO DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend! The atmosphere was very fun and comfortable. The other menu options looked incredibly tasty - food and drinks alike. I’d love to come back."
"We want to congratulate the chef in a big way, we just went to Italy last month, we tried many different artisanal pizzas, we have tried pizzas in New York and his is even better, one of our world top!! and the incredible decoration!"
"Had a wonderful time out at Barbaro with family. Barbaro is located on a corner in a neighborhood area which makes the restaurant feel rather cozy. The ambiance is nice with great alternative music selections. The Happy Hour drinks are top quality and very tasty. The pizza is definitely in my top 3 for the best in San Antonio. Great service with very friendly staff. My only gripe is the credit card only policy which I don't care much about at all. At least I can still leave a cash tip to the servers which did make them quite happy. Anyway, I do highly recommend you give this place a visit."
"This establishment was a letdown. For starters, this restaurant has very limited parking. Second, the food is mediocre. I thought the pizza was good, but it wasn't any better, or even as good, as other gluten-free pizza places in San Antonio. Furthermore, they charge a lot for toppings but don't give you much. For $3, you get a few small mushroom slices on each pizza slice (see photo). Third, I was excited about the $6 cocktails, which were listed on the menu we were given, and my mother and I each ordered one (the rose all-day is not a very generous portion, about half of a small glass). However, when we received the bill, they were listed as $12 each, and I had to ask the waitress to change it. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, they do not accept cash and instead charge a service fee on each tab. This is a very shady and cheap practice, and we will not return."
