"Awesome burgers. The best Buttermilk pie I've ever had. Great service. I stopped by 10 years ago with a motorcycle group and had an awesome lunch. Made it back today. service and flavors still the same. Thank you!!"
"Authentic Americana! We went on a Saturday night and enjoyed the amazing perfectly cooked catfish and a burger. Great family atmosphere and historic little postage stamp of a town. Julie, the owner, came out and visited with us and we took in the sunset on the patio while enjoying our BYOB beverages and watched the local kids prepare for a square dance across the street. Food was delicious and lots of cute photo op surround the store. The staff is sweet and your meal is cooked to order! Newly constructed patio cover made for enjoyable Al fresco dining. We missed the live music usually between 5-8pm on Saturday nights since the singer was sick so we will be back to enjoy the live music another time. Don’t miss this hidden gem just a little northeast of Decatur. Greenwood Grocery is a must visit!"
"A hole-in-the-wall (my fave kind of place!) with great burgers and nice people I hear the Dat night fish special is good, too! You're going to feel like you walked back in time. Don't expect fancy, but be surprised by good!"
"We found this little place on accident and man was we impressed. Real meat homemade hamburgers were so good we ate talking about it weeks later. If your ever out in this area you got to stop in here for a bite for sure."
"Great hole in the wall place that seems to take you a step back in time. The quaint grocery store which serves up food is a gem and worth the try. We had burgers house fries and onion rings. All was great. The burgers were a thick patty. Fries were house cut home fries. Onion rings were crispy. Also had a sampling of the pinto beans and a generous serving of apple cobbler. Apple cobbler had just the right amount of cinnamon. Everything was great tasting. The establishment is small with gravel parking with a step up into the restaurant so access is not very wheelchair friendly. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel right at home. The limited offerings on Friday and Saturday night come with live music."
