"I bought half a beef and a whole hog, had part of it smoked. The beef steaks i had cut a 1 1/2'' thick and it cut like butter great flavor, Every bit of my experience was great. Colton was easy to work with and answered all of my questions, and brought my order out to me to load. I will be return customer for sure great family ran business in a nice country settng."
"I walk in the door to pickup my half of a beef and behind the counter was a small boy. He had my bill and I paid it and he tells me to get parked by the big white door. I assumed he was getting someone to bring the meat out. I sat outside waiting for the door to open, it did open and it was him! A Child! He proceeded to check every "cut" package and finished the first one and then it happened....he couldn't lift the bag! I said young man how old are you... politely he said 11. I had just been in the ER Monday early evening with a pinched nerve in my neck and not supposed to be lifting over 5 pounds but *I* put in my truck. I'm all about young ones working but only to there ability. Never offered once to get someone else. I will not be doing business with J&J quality meats again."
"I purchased a half a cow in this area and this is the butcher that did all the processing of that cow. I was very pleased with the way they packaged everything and the family was all very nice. They had a lot of different meats, spices and other things you could purchase inside the store. This is a family on butcher shop which I believe is now on the fifth generation. Now more than ever I am trying to support Americans and American companies. I had to drive a little more than two hours for this but it was well worth it!"
