"By far, the worst customer service. It's almost as if all the employees there have to be uneducated A-holes in order to get the job at that speedway. I will never go there nor recommend this place"
"The convenience store aspect of this said Speedway location is on-par with that of other Speedway and 7-Eleven locations that I, personally, have been to, but this location has a Restroom that is in generally awful shape, amd arguably is the worst one I have seen for a convenience store throughout the entirety of this road trip. The urinals were fine in the men's Restroom at this establishment, but the water pressure of the sink was too powerful for the washing of that of the hands, and it also proved to be distracting to me, because of the fact that it sprayed water directly into my body."
"Today is 3/28 at 5am, there is a young African American woman at the register and on her personal phone while there is a line building up. She never greets the customers that was in line. The night staff that is usually there is very kind and helpful, I don’t know if this girl is new but maybe someone should have a talk with her about customer service skills."
"Check your hot sandwich before leaving the store. I got 2 chicken biscuits sandwiches, the meat was hard and burned."
"I would like to share my experience with Speedway. This incident happened at different location but i have fueled at this location many times so i want to share it here as well. This happened on 6/19/19 in Dandridge,TN. Speedway was my preferred fuel stop in past 3 years and i fueled at speedway whenever it was possible which i will prove with pictures below. Also everything else i say here will be proven by photos below. On 6/19/19 i was running low on fuel and stopped in Dandridge, TN Speedway location around midnight. I fueled 234 gallons of diesel in the amount of $641. I sow trucks parked around so i decided to take break there as well. I pulled away from fuel island to left side where i wasn't blocking fuel island, entrance or exit. They did have no parking signs posted by the entrance and they had some on side which i disnt see. 2-3 hours later i heard loud noise and knock on my door. I looked outside and sow tow truck in front hooked to my truck and noise was from airline they took off. All this is going on while i am in the truck. They are taking air lines off, hooking up tow truck under my truck and what not. I asked them what was going on and they said "Speedway corporate office called them and told them to tow my truck" which was a lie. I went inside and asked lady who was working what was going on and she said those guys drive around and look for trucks to tow which was also a lie. I asked if she called them and she said she didnt which was another lie again. I was given option to pay $350 on the spot or they would tow the teuck and it would be $1500 next day. Not knowing local or state law i paid $350 and moved. I went back to the store next morning and asked for a manager. I asked who called towing company. She said person that was working that night called and thats only person who could called and she had call logs. She made 2 or 3 calls to tow company. Seems like she was really desperate for them to come. My question was who gives the authority to some cheap towing company to speak in speedway corporate office name? Why did everyone lie to me about what was going on? Why is this going on on Speedway location and grounds? Why i was never told to move? Why didnt towing company ask me to move? Only explanation is that person working that night was on it with towing company people. I been sriving truck for 10 years and i have been parked where i wasnt supposed to be, but i was always given a warning first or asked to move. I called several different towing companies in the area and asked them what do they do im similar cases and all of them said they been called to different truck stops but always given warnings and asked people to move first. So from all this we can see that its specific towing company and specific location and ofcourse specific people working who were all on it together. I called speedway corporate office and told them all this and they did acted suprised that it happened like this and made claim. They sent me letter in mail in response to the calim which will be posted down in photos. I called Melisa Smith (costumer satisfaction specialist) person who signed letter and couldnt get ger on the phone. I left voicemail and she never called me back. Now you can se how crooked some of the speedway locations can be as well as employees working for them. Also you can see how costumer service can be when you have problem with something and how irresponsible person in charge of costumer satisfaction can be. This is what i got for being loyal to them for over 3 years. Nothing but disappointment. They couldn't do simplest thing such as a call back."
