"I bought a screen protector for 60$ and asked them to install it for me so I don’t mess it up. I went there, and the lady put the screen protector, but it’s sloppy, and it creates a bubble. I went back there again for her to fix it but still the case. I should’ve done it myself. So please do yourself a favor and find someone who knows and install it carefully."
"I’m going to give them 4 stars because when I called no one at the store answers the calls for answering questions regarding my laptop. The call center gave me incorrect information however the store Geek Squad counter was able to assist. Even though they do NOT carry batteries for laptops in the store; they were able to find out what kind I needed and looked it up on Amazon. I ordered the battery from Amazon and they will put it in for free because of my total tech warranty that I bought when I purchased my desk top."
"I dropped my computer off on a Friday afternoon and was told installations would take 1-2 days, after the 2nd day they called and said it was just about finished and since then it has been radio silence. I have tried calling multiple times and keep just being told “we will put you in the call back queue” and that’s it. It’s been 5 days now and I am not able to do my remote job or online schooling because of this. 1-2 days shouldn’t mean after 2 days you get radio silenced about what’s going on."
"I called to make an appointment to have them remodel our home theater system. The girl that answered passed me to someone else who asked me my name and phone number and what I wanted. I told her and she said she’d get me to a home theater person and please hold. The next person gets on the phone and asks me my name and phone number again. I had held already for 10 minutes and I told her she already had my Name and phone number. Then she tells me my name so she did have it! Then she asked me for my phone number again I told her all I wanted to do was make an appointment and if she couldn’t take care of that and I would call someone else and I hung up. I won’t call him back."
"Sad to say I had a very bad experience with Geek Squad recently. In March I lent my computer to my brother and when I got it back the screen wouldn’t turn on, I went before quarantine and I got it back around April 1st. When I got home and opened it I don’t believe that they closed the screen right because as I opened it the hinge stopped and shattered the screen... I called the store and said that there was no more appointments being made for geek squad and I tried calling the company and they said that they couldn’t do anything, and that I would just have to wait for when they opened back up, and I asked them when they were gonna open back up but they said they didn’t know. Once they finally opened back up again I took it so that they could fix the mistake they made and they didn’t want to, they claimed that it was because more then 30 days had passed, I got it back April 1st and 30 days would’ve been May 1st but they were still closed at that time, they also said it was my fault since they “didn’t touch the screen” which I retorted by saying I had had that computer for almost 4 years and have never had a problem with the screen, very bad customer service and horrible communication. They wanted me to send it out again and pay for it out of pocket and I just picked up my laptop and said I would never have anything done to any of my devices there again."
