"Was driving through El Paso craving some BBQ, and this hit the spot just perfectly. All the meats we tried had a great balance of texture and smokey flavor. We can recommend all we tried: the brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and spare rips, and it's hard to imagine going wrong with any of their meats. If you can't figure what to get, get the Texas Trinity! The sides we tried were all delicious. Creamy Mac & Cheese, classic Coleslaw, novel Green Chilli Cheese Rice... all epitomes of their class. And the Nachos was absolutely loaded, the picture posted is actually just a "half" portion. It's unfortunate I don't live closer to buy, I'll be craving this again for some time."
"I went there on 12 February and ordered the double brisket plate and decided to go with the moist and the lean. As you can see by the photo this is was what I got when I got home and opened the tray. For $23 it sure felt like I was short changed. I got there at 11:00 as they opened and I was the first customer that day. The meat that I did get was delicious and hopefully my experience will be better next time should I feel like brisket again."
"Desert oak off of I-10… NO GO!!!!! I rather go to Rudys…. I hate Rudys The burnt ends look and tasted like jerky. The baked beans taste like pinto beans from the can. The brisket and pulled pork came from a crock pot. The turkey was amazing!!! Better options in El Paso - Rib Hut, Famous Daves or your friends cooking"
"Amazingly good BBQ. The Dino Rib is a revelation and yeah, at $39, worth every penny, enough for two. I think only available Sat and Sun but if you love BBQ, you have to try it. The Brisket is also amazing: tender, moist, off the charts. Cream Corn with green chile is really unusual, another must-have. We also liked the rice with green chile. Dog friendly, you can dine inside or out with them (on leash) which was great for us. Our server Yareth was perfect, knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. This BBQ is the real deal, you will not find better anywhere else, at least we’ve never had anything this good in Austin or San Antonio."
