"First time trying this restaurant. The tortilla soup was delicious, the mole was very tasty, just wish the chicken hadn't been too shredded. The chicken tampiquena was very good as well. Tried taco Tuesday, and the fish tacos were good. Tried the breakfast as well and it was delicious. Tried the fish corrida, the Mexican Plate, and the sirloin tampiqueña and the dishes were all very bland. Missing salt and missing flavor. Was a bit disappointed. The menudo was good but also missing flavor. I think I'll stick to the tortilla soup. Tried the enmoladas and they were delicious."

"I thought I would try a different restaurant, not my usual La Malinche. So I ordered a Caldo de res. I ordered it take out, when I got home the soup was cold, so I had to warm it up. I put the soup into a pot to heat and these two chunks of cabbage is what I got. The 3 little pieces of meat had a lot of cartlidge. Never again I’m just going to go to the same restaurants I usually go to, at least I know what I’m getting there."

"My server greeted me very fast with a clean menu at a clean table. This is hard to find for some reason. But this establishment was very clean, and i loved it. I got chips and salsa right after and ordered the skirt steak. It was overcooked but still had a good flavor. I also got the shrimp cocktail, and it was presented very well. I will definitely be coming back to try out some more. I'd come back due to just how well the young gentleman treated my family."
