"Delightful little family-owned restaurant off the beaten path. Around the corner from Crossroads (N Mesa & Doniphan) Attentive service with drinks. Sauces were weak but food was good. Tacos done just right, with a light fry."

"The food did not have fresh ingredients and the quality was poor for the price. My friend and I had lunch at this restaurant. My guacamole was already dark brown and black in spots. They added extra cilantro and pico de gallo on the top to camouflage it. My friend had enchiladas with moldy cheese and a piece of plastic in them. She was very nice about the incident and let the waitress and the owner know that it was served to her. She said she was not looking for a refund because she had already eaten more than half the plate, but she thought they would like to know. They did not care, and did not even apologize. I was more apologetic because I took her to that restaurant. I will not go there again. 18$ for a one person lunch with poor quality ingredients is ridiculous. It’s a shame because the food is good, but who wants to eat moldy cheese and plastic?"

"So every time I come to El Paso, I make it a mission to come and eat here. I love the menudo! I was very disappointed on this visit!I would like to think that my experience today was just one of those days… my menudo was bland, no color, and portion wise, not worth my money. Ultimately my worst visit. Maybe on my next visit to El Paso I’ll stop by. My guess this place is a hit or miss. I would like to add that our waitress… I believe was “Maura” was more worried about her make up than our service."

"The food here is very good. Good kid’s menu items as well. The “cherry on top” for me is that they serve Abuelita hot chocolate also. The sauce for the Huevos Rancheros was unique and delicious. Will visit again!"
