"Took my son here for lunch on 3/2 around 1:30. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. Our server, Lexi, was extremely kind and helpful, and stayed on top of our every need. We started off the meal with Joe’s Classic Sampler. The crab and shrimp dip was warm and cheesy and gooey and went great on the crisp and seasoned chips. The great balls of fire were my favorite part of the appetizer. The cream cheese and jalapeños really kicked it up a notch in flavor! The crispy fried calamari was beautifully cooked and tender, and not chewy at all. Then I got the broiled seafood platter for my entree. The lobster was juicy and tender and bursting with sweet and savory flavors. The stuffed crab was tasted like I took a crab to Thanksgiving! That wonderful dressing flavor complimented the sweet crab. The bacon wrapped shrimp were glorious salty, creamy, spicy bites of bliss. And the grilled shrimp drizzled with lemon butter were a refreshing palate cleanser. The jasmine rice and broccoli soaked up all the beautiful juices of the dish and were enjoyable sides as well. My son ordered Joe’s Classic Steampot with Ragin’ Cajun sauce. He loved every bite. And we even got garlic bread for him to soak up what the corn and potatoes did not. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a good time!"
"First of all Jade ,our server was great!!! The food was awful!!! We ordered the steam pot with old bay seasoning! There was zero old bay seasoning!! The shrimp was chewy and dry! The crab legs were very small and no meat!!! The seasoning was basically butter and garlic!!! We won’t be back and that’s sad because we used to love Joes !!"
"The positives: -playground is fun for kids -the writing on the bibs is funny -the rice (side) was unproblematic Negatives: -the table was sticky -- took over 15min & multiple asks for the server to bring a towel to wipe it down. It was still sticky after, and we used napkins as placemats -every dish came out cold, &after a long period (they were not busy) -the Cesar salad was brought with ranch dressing instead of cesar -never brought out condiments that were requested -took over 30min for one in our party to get a water glass because "they're doing the dishes" -took over 40min for 2 wine glasses (of 6) to come out to serve the bottle (for the same reason....dishes) -the spicy crab was completely bland -the lobster was unbearably salty -the bisque tasted like it was from a can -with any of the issues we asked to be fixed, all were small like ketchup or a fork, we had to ask multiple times, even with the waitress coming to "check" on us in between, not having done anything to amend the previous issues, and needing a reminder. Management clearly had to sweep the bottom of the barrel for staffing, or has failed to properly train their staff. This is not the Joe's I grew up with: good food, fun times, dancing and eating."
"We are from Odessa and typically have pretty good service, always worth the drive. This last visit was one for the books. Went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday who was not having the best day. Our server was Julian. He quickly made her day better with his amazing attitude and made it a core memory. An extraordinary experience and so glad we visited. Food was pretty great as well. Thank you Julian you made her cry of Joy!"
"Place was empty services was good food was the worst worst worst shrimp plate and there was no warm anything microwaved burnt at best asparagus look like it been cooked five times no war to it whatsoever so tough I had to cut what little bit I did eat with a knife instead of using a fork to push through it not recommend and not going back"
