"All of the workers there were very very nice and helpful. The food was solid."
"I come here every once in a while because their food is delicious. The burgers and fries are both great. Very fresh and flavorful. Tonight, our family of six ate there because of a flyer I saw in the restaurant advertising family night on the first Tuesday of every month. The flyer mentions shirt giveaways, raffles, fun activities, and more. There was none of this. We did get the promised free kids' meals (see attached flyer), but only because I asked; the cashier was dumbfounded when I mentioned it. I would say we were disappointed about the lack of shirts, giveaways, and promised activities, but the main attraction is the food. However, they shouldn't advertise all of the fun stuff and not deliver it. I interacted with maybe three of their employees, and all of them were barely audible. They should learn to speak up. And no smiles. They just stare at you and don't even ask how they can help, how is your day, or anything. When we tried to find a seat, I passed over three booths because they were filthy. There were no other customers in the place, and they had plenty of help, so I can't imagine that they weren't able to find resources to clean the tables. When we tried to get ketchup, there were no containers for it. Once we obtained containers from the staff, the ketchup dispenser was empty. Maybe if they prepared for the supper rush better... Later, one of our children spilled a small cup of ice on the floor. When I tried to notify the staff, they were all looking at their cell phones. When I got the attention of an employee, he said he would clean it up. He then proceeded to play on his phone again. When we left 5-10 minutes later, he hadn't lifted a finger to clean up the mess. By this time, the place had more customers in it. I hope no one slipped and fell. So sad. For a place with such good food, I wish they were managed better. There are so many places to eat, so I don't know that we'll be back. Maybe for drive-thru."
"We've never eaten at a Freddy's, but it was next door to the carwash on 19th so while our car was getting detailed we thought we'd try this place. Turned out this was really a really good idea! Even has malts(not just a shake) and added caramel for our 1 free add to our vanilla malt and was totally amazing! We split a cheeseburger and loved the shoestring fries as both were awesome! The best part was actually the next day when we saw our car keys to another car was missing and the Tile we had on it showed last & current location was behind Freddy's. The Mgr was SUPER SUPER nice and was going to help us by going through the trash bags in the dumpster. But the Tile signal on the keys was getting stronger as we walked next door to the Mighty Wash #5 who had taken our extra keys out while detailing our car but FAILED to put back in our car! But HUGE thx to the Mgr(tall with a beard as I failed to remember his name while super excited we found them) here at Freddy's who was willing to go dumpster diving for us as they had just opened up for their Sat! This restaurant location now have our business for a lifetime anytime we are back visiting our kids at TxTech for going the extra mile for Customer Service❣️And highly recommend trying this place as well since the food was amazing and our experience was off the chart!"
"This place reminded me of Stake N Shake except instead of the "shakes", they offer frozen custard. I did not partake in that for this trip. Inside, it has a 50's diner kind of feel to it. There are photos around the restaurant detailing the founder's history. It was actually kind of interesting to learn about Freddy. The staff was really nice. I counted four occasions where they asked if I needed anything. Okay, the food. I tried the bacon and cheese double burger. I was good, but not excellent. I've had better. I guess a good comparison would be In and Out burger. It's and okay burger, but there is not flair to it. I did enjoy the matchstick fries and special fries sauce. The sauce reminded me of the sauce at Raising Kanes. If I had to point out one flaw, it would be their restroom. It was about as clean as an off-brand gas station's. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and like the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place and would go again, if there was one in my city."
"Great place for a quick bite to eat and some custard. Their custard is pretty darn good. I am also a fan of their custard “on hold” option that allows you to order your custard with your meal and place it “on hold” and then you simply go up and ask for it when you’re ready. Nice to keep the treats cold and fresh while you enjoy your meal."
