Jimmy's Egg 4406 114th Street, Lubbock, TX 79424

"Have never been to any Jimmy’s Egg location but wanted to try it. We pull up, walk in and greeted within seconds and show to our both in the southwest corner. Lady says someone will be right with to take our order. Approximately one minute and 12 seconds later an older couple walk in are seated at the table east of us. Immediately they have a girl asking their drink order. She comes back with their drinks and starts taking their food order. At this point we have been in the establishment 6 and a half minutes and not a single person came to our table! Mind you they might have had 5-6 tables of customers total. They were by no means busy. Called to talk to the manager and waited 2 minutes and hung up. She at least called me back and as I explained the situation to her, her response was “sometimes that just happens.” Now she did offer to comp our meal if we ever did plan to return but that will not happen after the lack of service and the lack of management accountability for their team."

"Food and service was excellent. The only issue I had it kinda smelled like sewer when you walked in. It was very mild but not something I wanna smell when trying to eat. We will definitely give it another try."

"I really think the breakfast places are the busiest on Sunday, but I ordered the traditional breakfast. The plate comes with one meat, two eggs, and your choice of two sides, which today I ordered the grits ànd hasbrowns."

"I have Ordered takeout here several times. Every time I am either missing something or my order isn’t ready. Also to get any kind of service you literally have to make eye contact with someone and get their attention or they’ll keep walking. This time my order wasn’t ready or even started so I had to wait an additional 20-25 minutes. No one greets you when you walk in, they just look at you and keep doing whatever it was they were doing. My toast which I don’t even think was toasted, was put in the container with my wife’s skillet so it had melted cheese on it and couldn’t even enjoy jelly on it. The “bacon” in her meat lovers skillet was bacon bits, her potatoes and eggs were overcooked. I was missing several items from my order including sausage and pancakes, but everyone was only interested in their phones, talking and side jobs. If I’m waiting to have my order freshly made come on guys, do better. I have tried to give this place several chances. However, me personally I definitely won’t be back, for what I spent I’d rather drive to red zone or any other breakfast establishment and get more food and a better product…."
