"I like walking the trails here. There are some beautiful stretches of trail. However I wish it was better maintained and I wish people didn't litter. Other than that....can't complain. Good place to walk your dog as well."
"This is a great place to take a deep breath and feel like you are away from everything. Super convenient location, nestled in a place surrounded by nature. It's a lovely spot."
"Beautiful trees. Water was really low. Did see suspicious things happening in the parking lot. Had senior pictures done there, they turned out great but probably won’t go back just to walk."
"Very clean, quiet, and plenty of space for the kids and or dogs to run and play. Bring your fishing pole. Their is a pier for fishing, or use almost any of the 3+ miles of coastline. Don't forget a spillway exist on 400E just South of the boat ramp. If you want grounded family play time then hit 500E just South of the bridge. One drawl back is I believe that only a port-a-pot is the only public relief for about 2 miles. Come out and enjoy some great out of the way quiet family fun time."
"When we first got there, it didn't look great. The boys said one star. The playground is rusty and needs painted. The boys loved it anyways. Then they explored a trail along the water and found frogs and sticks. There was a covered picnic area and a few fisherman. We walked on a nice, even trail for about a mile and a half before we turned around and walked back to the parking lot. At the end, boys increased their rating to five stars!"
