"Beautiful views and trails. The park is nice for kids and so is the trails. Had a wonderful time. Will be coming back since it is in my area.☺️"
"If you are planning to visit the 1st sanctioned recreation area in Lake County Indiana, don't be surprised if you drive right past the only entrance to the park. No signage along the main road and no trail markers whatsoever. If you're there for activities other than hiking, those are pretty well marked though. The park has a large footprint of hiking trails but not asking much for a few guiding posts."
"Peaceful place to walk and a bonus if you play Pokémon Go (Lots of Pokestops & gyms) Clean playground, walkways and lake."
"A nice place to walk, play and hangout with family, sad that I don't have any friends... They charge you $5 dollars if you live in Indiana and $7 if you live in Illinois. Why do you charge??? But sometimes it's free. The place is cool and clean, except sometimes people don't clean after themselves. You can bring your dog here too. The tennis fields are in bad condition."
"Had a great time here with some recovery friends, the park was great at assisting us with getting a pavilion rented for our party. Very spacious lots of tables had power, not sure if they had water? Plenty to do lots of trails, frisbee golf, volleyball courts, soccer fields, concession stand, disc golf store, play area for the kids and some water attractions. Grounds were meticulously maintained. Everything was easy to find and access. Even had a covered bridge on one of the trails. Really enjoyed ourselves thank you very much!"
