"Bloomington Parks & Recreation is NOT Monroe County Parks and Recreation. There is much confusion between these two organizations. I called to make a complaint about an unfortunate situation involving a specific park located in Monroe County/Bloomington. I made an apparent common mistake of placing blame on Bloomington Parks & Rec. As it was the weekend and after business hours when I called about my concerns, I had to leave a voicemail. They returned my call to politely inform me of my error. I now know my beef is with Monroe County Parks and Recreation. Visit their page to find my story and review. It will have many less stars. "I live near one of the parks. After a few instances of being woken up at night from people staying overnight in the park - my husband, myself and neighbors complained to the city about if anything could be done. They have since installed lighting, which has greatly improved the safety and visibility in the park. We are grateful that the Parks and Rec dept has listened to our voices and made a positive change!"
