We finally decided it was time to "harvest" the moss, lichen and small trees growing all over our roof and in the gutters. MacGregor Power Washing Services called within hours of us requesting a quote through their website and were out to assess the "roof garden" we'd carefully cultivated for them within days. We received a very reasonable quote, got on the schedule in about a week and they worked hard and efficiently to remove all the built up filth, having our white metal roof and gutters so sparkling clean they appeared to glow in the moonlight! This big job only took them 4 hours and we almost immediately received compliments from family and neighbors on how great it looked and asking for the name and number of the company who did such great work. "I highly recommend this company. My roof was in really bad shape with moss/algae growth and a large amount discoloration. I was certain my roof was so bad I would need a new one. I hired MacGregor to come and clean it before I resorted to spending the thousands of dollars it was going to cost for a new roof. They did a great job washing it and my roof looks brand new now, all one color. Saving me a lot of money. I also hired them to paint my front porch. It’s a very old brick and concrete porch that’s been heavily weathered. Told them the color I was looking for and they found the perfect match for my house. "MacGregor Power Washing Services did great work! It was like having a whole new house! The work was done around the beginning of winter when the temperatures started to get below freezing at night. They made sure to do the work on a day that would allow the chemicals to work properly. They took the time to make sure it was done right. They also did several other jobs around the house during the late fall and winter, such repairing ceiling or wall cracks, painting walls and ceilings, tile backsplash, replacing doors, painting doors and shutters, general landscaping, general cleaning but also including some hard to clean items, and a few other small repairs. All of the work was very reasonably priced. The breakdowns on the estimates clarified the extent of the work to be done. I was not able to be there most of the time, so they sent me pictures to keep me updated on the progress. Then they met with me for detailed walk-throughs when I was able to come by after each chunk of work was done. Each time I visited the house it was clean and work supplies and tools were organized. They also helped me find and fix a few things I hadn't noticed and provided suggestions for things I wasn't sure about, like exactly what paint color to use or what the tile backsplash should look like. I could tell they really care about doing the right thing for their customers.
