"Today I visited TjMaxxx in Tinley Park and had one of the rudest customer service experiences ever. I tried returning my items and the lady helping with it told me my receipt didn’t match my items I brought in. I looked at the receipt to make sure and the items matched up with what the receipt said because that was the only receipt I had for them. I kindly asked her to look again because the numbers on the items matched up with the receipt. I know this as I have worked retail. So I told her to at least try scanning my items for my refund. She then told me she couldn’t help me as my items were opened and empty there’s nothing she can do. Ridiculous looks like there has been other problems like this as well. Learn to do your job correctly and learn to be kind."

"I go here very often, and honestly after today that draws the line. I came in to return some pants that I bought that turned out to be too big, I left it in my car so the item was very cold to the touch once I brought it back to the store. I figured I can exchange it for some socks since I really needed some and found some that I really liked. The cashier named “Jade” or “Jada” started feeling around the pants and claiming that it was “wet” and that she wouldn’t be able to return it, I felt around the pants to understand what she was talking about, I let her know over and over again that it’s not wet it’s just cold to the touch which may be why your mistaking it for being “wet”, she told me “ I don’t know how ima resell this” and said she wouldn’t be able to do my exchange, she then asked if I still wanted the socks and I told her no it’s fine I’ll just come back when the pants are “warmed up”. As I was leaving I seen the manager and told him what happened, he pulled the pants out the bag felt it and was also confused on why the cashier lady didn’t allow the return he then allowed me to have it returned fortunately but unfortunately I didn’t get the socks, good management but terrible employee, I wasted an hour in the store looking for socks then 20 min in line just for that to happen. Very disappointed and will definitely not be going back, it was also extremely embarrassing given other customers witnessed her claiming the pants that I tried to return were “wet”. Never again."

"I always have luck finding cute things at this location! Seasonal decorations are always a must here too! If you want to get certain good finds, best to check in early in the morning. I have been searching for a cooking pot for almost a year, so I’m excited I found this one! Every time I’m at the checkout, the employees are so nice & like to have small talk with you. Which is appreciated to have some adult interaction from being with my kids all day haha. I go here at least 3 times a week even if I don’t find anything to purchase!"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. Although they weren't fully stocked as I have seen pre Covid-19 they had plenty of merchandise to select from. They had plenty of floor signage to make sure you kept the required 6 feet of social distance. They also had arrows for one direction traffic. Some of the patrons need to work on following the rules."

"Nice store. Pretty well stocked given that it’s a smaller than usual store. The line can get LONG. And the store is pretty clean but you’ll find items on the floor, especially in the bedding area. Some shelves have too many items on them making it hard to find certain things. They stock good items for holidays, however the men’s section was a bit smaller than I usually see in other TJMX stores."
