"**BEWARE RACISM AND DISCRIMINATION!** I was in with my mom and 2 babies, we had just walked out of HomeGoods and decided to walk over to kohls since it was next door. I had asked the nice hijabi worker up front if it was ok to shop with the HomeGoods cart bcuz kohls carts don’t cater for toddler kids and she said it was fine. As we were shopping around I did notice what could be the manager keeping and eye on us as I went to use the restroom alone. He had dark hair and was wearing glasses. I didn’t pay much to it. After we finished our shopping we went to checkout everything was going well. Until the same guy (maybe the manager) comes up right as we got our receipt and looks directly our carts! The rude cashier then asks him, “Was there anything in there?” And to his reply he said and I QUOTE, “Nope, that’s why I came here to check”. Disgusting behavior! Assuming that we are stealing! Shame on you all! Avoid this location especially if you’re NOT WHITE."

"02/11/2024 Be aware of Discrimination. Out of touch, unprofessional employees. This location is in desperate need of Culture Competence Training, especially Jessica a bold racist manager. This was another bad experience in Kohl's located in Tinley Park, IL. Spoke my issue/concern with incompetent manager Jessica, who in my opinion is the problem. Very dismissive, condescending and disgustingly rude. Zero care for me or me being a customer ready to purchase items. While waiting in line for over 10 minutes another customer of another race comes behind and is immediately offered self check out. The very customer behind me apologized to me for the poor treatment he had witnessed. This experience has taught me that my money and race is not welcomed at any Kohl’s. ***I do not suggest this business as way too many bad experiences with race. Terrible business."

"If you need help in women's shoes at the Tinley Park Kohl’s store, make sure you ask for Carla, who is amazing, and went out of her way to find me the best size in a winter boot. Her suggestions were appreciated, and her demeanor was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. Reem and Dan were both helpful at self checkout to make my experience smooth."

Even though she typed my email address incorrectly into the system. Purchased a VERY cute top! Was able to use the $10 off promotional sale offer."
