Reviews of Doggone Rite
"I came to pick my dog up they added a 40 dollar charge for matted hair which it wasn't that bad listed nowhere in the lobby and the lady never charge me for trying to support our people gone wrong I won't be back not to mention this wasn't the first issue"
"if i could give a 0 star i would. this place is terrible. i started bringing my dog here recently and he would always come out with an infection on his private part. fine, we let it go cause maybe it was just an accident. went yesterday and my dog came out so scared. scared to even go in but so scared when i brought him out. now that he’s home he runs around like something hurts him on his bottom. squirming around and he hides behind our legs and under places. he can’t even sit correctly. i’ve never seen him act like this. i don’t know what they do in there but don’t take your dog. took him in at 12:40pm and got a call at 7pm. they are so ridiculous. i tried giving them chances but never again. and when i was walking in to pick him up, i see him in their window and the lady PULLINGGG on his tail hair. no patience or nothing i’m guessing. my poor baby i don’t know what to do to help his skin. he also has a cut on his balls and it’s INFLAMED and RED. please don’t come if you love your pets. they used to have 2 stars im unsure how they got up to 4… they must be fake or something cause no. UPDATE: took him to the hospital and got a $300 bill for what they did to him here."
"I just picked my boy pit up from a four day boarding… he looked good, smelled good, played good, and we are VERY pleased!! I found this to be a very professional, clean, and accommodating facility. Ms. Connie the owner has the best customer service skills that I have encountered in such a long time. This is our new spot for grooming and boarding, and should be yours too. U Doggone Rite!"
"Really wish I wasn’t referred to this place. Ask for smooth grooming style and got a fluffy and patchy hair cut. With long hairs and short patches that almost close to cutting his skin. Overall bad hair cut, all his fur is uneven! I called at 11am asking if they took walk-in, they said yes and I dropped him off 15 mins later. I didn’t get a call for pick up until after 7:15pm and he look like he has a rushed haircut. If they didn’t have the time to groom him that could of simply said that! Will not be returning!"
"Would give no stars if I could. PET OWNERS BEWARE of taking your pets here for grooming. I recently took my dog here for the first time to be groomed. Less than 2 days later, I noticed he was scratching violently at his ears; so violently that it was starting to scab and bleed. I also noticed oozing from his ears. I found a few fleas on him as well and my dog DID NOT have fleas beforehand. I took him to the vet and they said he had an ear infection-they stating that the most common way a dog gets an ear infection is when a dog gets wet or bathed and the water gets into the ear and is not dried throughly. The vet bill and medication were expensive. I called and spoke to Connie , who was extremely rude. Stated talking over me before I could even express my concern. She took no responsibility at all and said there’s no way water got into the dog’s ear. I tried explaining to her that is very much possible to get water in a dog’s ear when bathing them and that just like HUMANS, when water enters the ear it needs to be drained properly. She continued to talk over me and didn’t acknowledge my concern at all, instead she demanded to speak to the vet who saw my dog because “she doesn’t like nobody telling her what she did and there weren’t there to see it”. She actually challenged a vet’s diagnosis instead of taking responsibility. I never even got the chance to tell her what solution or resolution I was looking for because she was so defensive. This establishment is unprofessional and in my opinion isn’t safe for animals. The pictures I took was two days after the grooming and the infection only got worse. For anyone that actually cares about your pets, I recommend you find somewhere else for them to get groomed."
