"Catch a 45 minute canal boat ride that includes the 750 foot long canal tunnel excavated by hand & black powder over 150 years ago the last 3 Sundays of the month summers thru early October, 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm only weather permitting. Lots of history provided by the boat guide. Captain Bob was a delight. All volunteer run. Also 100,000+ acres of very well kept hiking trails."
"Loved this little park. Was empty due to the heat but really nice walking trails and the canal is interesting as well. Great for history buffs with some things to read and old photos. Lots of space for kids to run around as well. I'm not sure if you're allowed to fish but there are a ton of fish in the water."
