"The house is beautiful but please note that it is not open to the public and shouldn't be on Google Maps. It is a private residence, not a museum. It is popular for who lived here, and I don't mean Newton Baker. For a few months after President Kennedy was assassinated, his widow, Jacqueline, and her two small children lived in this house. However, the constant paparazzi made her feel like "she was living in a fishbowl" so she packed up Caroline and John Jr. and left Washington for NYC where she could "blend in". Note: in the house directly across the street lived Robert Todd Lincoln, the only surviving son of President Abraham Lincoln. And if you can see in, check out the ceiling of the living room (above the garage) of the house directly to the right of the Newton Baker House."
