"The grounds around Oakland terrace need some love. Also the only panama city tennis courts are unusable. When will Panama City repair and reopen courts.Hope our new Q o L director will have this done immediately."
"I'm commenting on the Panama City housing authority, I've been living here 17 years and between being threatened by alcoholic violent tenants and witnessing open drug dealing by tenants for 7 years and recently having my car wrecked while it's parked in the apartment parking lot by non-tenants, and even though the wreck is documented by pcha video cameras, the landlady won't email me the video clip of my car getting wrecked by a non-tenant. This housing authority has a history of corruption which I have experienced personally. Avoid renting from the Panama City housing authority at all costs."
"The employees at the City offices are Very personable and respectful. The wait may be long for DMV but once you are called they are effective and accurate at getting your issues resolved. The bathrooms are always clean and they have a little mini-mart /Cafe on the first floor that's pretty good. Also the GIS department could use some new rugged tablets like Getac? Newer ones are easier to see in the sunlight than the ones GIS uses for survey work right now. They use a lot contractors rather than have in house for all IT work which can make it hard to get help when a system is down and you have to wait for the vendor to hire someone that works per diem for the contractor or vendor to fix the issues like printers or desktops/workstations laptops."
"Gave the city my deposit for water. Week later it was shut off, and I can’t get anyone to tell me why, or come out to turn it back on. This is absolutely unacceptable from a public entity, and Panama City should be embarrassed. We can neither shower, do laundry, or dishes even though we’ve given a deposit, transferred service and not received any bill from a cycle."
"I have been to city Hall on several occasions. I have been to the licensing department, Code enforcement and public works. Everyone is very helpful And informative regardless of what needs I have at the time. The security guard can also help direct you to whatever department you need to go to. It is located in a very lovely building. On this last occasion the elevator didn't work so I took the stairs."
