Brigadier General Gouverneur Kemble Warren

"The monument to General Warren is placed on the crest of Little Round Top depicting General Warren observing the movements of the Confederate Army on July 2nd 1863. General Warren served in the capacity of Chief Engineer for the Army of the Potomac at the battle but upon seeing the grave situation of the army’s left flank he rushed to find brigades to support the commanding heights and maintain the position for the Union Army in the battle."

"A beautiful spot to view the surrounding countryside. You must park and walk a short distance but the view is worth it. It is sometimes windy up here, so plan accordingly."

Warren's statue looks out from its vantage point on Little Round Top, across Plum Run. Warren had Col. Strong Vincent's brigade occupy the un defended position moments before it was attacked."
