"I enjoyed the trip but have to take off a couple stars as the tour guide, while seeming knowledgeable, had some issues. He spoke too fast and rambled. He was irrationally defensive when asked questions. He had alternate narratives and grand theories he was pushing that contradicted information we learned in the park museum. With the understanding the battle was brutal, his descriptions could be over the top, repetitive and gratuitous in nature. All these issues were exacerbated given I was there with my school aged children. Neither the content nor the delivery was appropriate. While the open bus was a nice way to see the area, I would probably stick with a licensed national park service tour guide."
