"I've used Flux Computer Repair to replace broken screens on iPads and the service was good for that. My most recent experience was not good, unfortunately. I took my business laptop to them because it was sluggish. It was ready for pickup the next day. They said it was no longer sluggish after they found and removed malware. It turns out they uninstalled the software I use for work and all of the work files associated with it. Completely erased the files. They couldn't undo this mistake. This software had a shortcut icon on the desktop and also had an icon on the taskbar. They said they have procedures in place to make sure important programs aren't erased but someone didn't do their job correctly. Very disappointing. I have the files backed up elsewhere thankfully. They still charged me for their service too (after discounting it a bit). I support local businesses but I cannot support them anymore."
