"Contacted for an estimate on a tv screen repair, the response was "No repair on screen repair is more than new tv". The one extra star is for taking the time to reply, but the reply gives me no new information."

"TLDR: Buyer beware. Brought our TV to him to fix. Quoted us 1-2 weeks. He took our cash deposit, 8 months later now and still no TV. Disappointed. Reviews made this guy sound like the real deal but he’s had our TV since May 2023 with our cash deposit. Told us it’d be done in a week, two weeks tops. When we called, like he instructed us to, he said he needed another week. Gave him another week and it still wasn’t ready. Claimed he was waiting to receive a part. When we called to follow up 2 weeks later he said, “oh yeah, I was waiting on that, I haven’t received the part yet.” If he truly is waiting on a part, I get being at the mercy of others but as a business owner I would be following up and hounding whoever I need to in order to get my customers piece done. Quoting 1-2 weeks and claiming a single piece is taking 6+ months to come in? Not acceptable. If this is truly the case, he should have told us that these parts can take a long time to get, not that he needed another week. I was hesitant to write this review but at this point, I don’t expect to ever get my money or TV back, he’s probably already resold it or scrapped it for parts, hoping we’d just forget about it. I’ve noticed that others who have had similar experiences were also trying to get their TVs fixed so he is most likely doing something shady with them. I would never recommend him to anyone for anything. Trying to figure out what my options are for how to proceed."

"Took a receiver I got from eBay and had Jeff repair it. Not only did he just fixed the issue but also made sure nothing else was bad. Much to say it sounds better then new and at a fair price to. Definitely recommend and will be doing business with Jeff. Great guy"

"Jeff is amazing and has been a pleasure to work with through the years, very knowledgeable and gives fair assessments of whether something is worth fixing by him or even on your own if your a DIY-type. Repairs he has done for me have exceeded my expectations. He even did a house call to fix a particular Sony TV, but my favorite repair was a late 70's/Vintage Pioneer SX-450 Stereo Receiver that still runs today after he fixed it for me back in '95!! ;-)"

"I was having problems with my amplifier. I called the stereo place by Chicago where I got it. They did a good job in telling me what could be wrong with it but weren't able to tell me exactly what could be the problem. I decided to then call Jeff and he was at my home in a couple hours. He knew what he was doing and was able to get it back to like new. I was very pleased with how kind and how knowledgeable he is. I will definitely be using him for future repairs."
