"Sales girl was very helpful. Knowledgeable friendly. Makes me want to go back there. If you want to make the woman in your life feel special. Jared has everything you need. No, I don't work there."
"I have been coming to Jared for many years. We have purchased rings, wedding rings, bracelets, watches etc. & never had issues. Yesterday, I was humiliated & practically crawled out of there. I went in for a general cleaning of my Levian jewelry & to ask about one of the rings I was given after the passing of my Mother. I realize my ring may not be much to this older blonde sales associate, but its everything to me. (This ring is very special to our family due to my Grandparent losing it back in the 40's and recovered it years later). As always, The associate looked through the stones before starting the cleaning process- I had asked her if she had any idea about the size of the diamond as she looked at it she looks up loudly laughing saying "its so funny how the diamonds were cut back in the day". She then went on using her hands to tell me how it was cut crooked and what it should look like. It felt a bit rude but I shrugged it off. As she was walking she stated "the stone didn't seem very large, maybe a 3/4 CT or so (Maybe, if she knew how poor my old Indiana Harbor-Mill working Grandparents were, she would rethink saying a 3/4 CT anything wasn't "that big". When she handed them back I asked about what I thought could possibly be a weak spot- She stated she saw that & looked at it closely and it was not a crack! (Whew, I was happy)- She then says, " it's more like bubbles, -It wasn't made properly" I took a step back said um, ok- So its an old ring, & that's kind of rude to say don't you think? (She then can tell she offended me) & says " well maybe when it was repaired they did that- Did you just have work done to it- I said no and then once again stated how I thought her words were very unnecessary. This happened last night about 6- I thought all night and today on this thinking maybe I was being over sensitive with losing my Mother. - No, I wasn't. I have dealt years worth of great Jared people. From the goofball fun manager Mr. Guttman to my favorite sassy sales girl Catherine- I can handle words that may come off harsh-again, my family is from the Harbor Its how we were raised. Yesterdays comments were completely unnecessary.- Life is hard enough, why on earth make people feel bad like they aren't good enough-"
"Went in not knowing much at all about diamond's for an engagement ring. Place was great and Regina was very helpful and informative. Made a somewhat stressful situation for myself an easy and pleasant shopping experience."
"Hubby and I went on Monday to purchase new rings as the old ones had an untimely death (long story). Anyway, Lori was very nice and accommodating. We (I) picked a beautiful engagement ring and was looking for an enhancer as the wedding ring and Lori pulled out the most beautiful enhancer ever to compliment that ring. I was set didn't need to see anything else. Hubby found his ring and we sealed the deal. We did purchase the extended warranty, but to my surprise it doesn't include stone replacement if broken or lost. Hence the reason for 4 stars. If you are going to charge that kind of money for a jewelry warranty it should at least include the stones. So now we have to purchase separate insurance to cover that. But overall the service was great."
