"Got good care for an infection,Dr Galloway very knowledgeable."
"Not only did I receive the worst news a person can hear concerning their parent / diagnosis of cancer over the phone by a doctor who was driving and the call kept dropping . but I was at work.. my parents were both at the hospital and completely coherent and capable of receiving this news in person.. I was unaware no doctor had even been there to talk to them about this news.. horrific experience of having to give my mom the news .. they were waiting for my dad to be released excited.. crushing. Plus no actual doctor saw him .. the nurse practitioner from the oncology department finally came to talk to him around 12:30 in the afternoon.. I got my initial call at 8:30.. now he is being released we were told medication would be called in… Pain meds etc. nothing called in and nurses said they knew nothing about it ! Now I’m reliving the nightmare having to track everyone down to get my dad what he needs. Patient care is a joke here ! I would not bring my dog here ! If you love someone don’t bring them here !"
"After my ER visit and still complained of dizziness after my seizure. They tell me there’s not much they can do and they gave me store brand tylenol. My psychiatrist basically accused me of being an addict, and the man doing my cat scan in the ER was so rude. I was laying down and I have a hard time getting up and he kept yelling “let’s go hurry up done on” if you are going to be in healthcare, you should have a better bed side manner. Not telling someone to “hurry up” or accusing them of being an addict. I’m done with this place"
"Took my son there for a knee injury. The wait was horrible. We where there for 5 hours. I understand that it’s an ER and things can get busy, but they don’t even at least communicate to you. They should have come out to say “sorry about your wait, we are totally backed up”, or tell the patient a possible wait time so they can prepare themselves. When they finally did come out, a nurse called my sons name and literally walked away in a second and they started calling another patient. First of all... my son was in a wheelchair due to a bad injury and couldn’t walk. How about you give a person time to answer to their name before you move on to the next patient as fast as you did. I get that ER is a busy fast pace place, but guess what, I work the medical field as well. I never make my patient feel like cattle. I treat each patient as VIP. When people are sick, in pain, and so on, the last thing they need is someone who is in the medical field to treat them as if they are nothing and NOT service them in a top notch professional way. Everybody has bad busy days, but you need to learn how to turn off the attitude before you are in the presence of a customer or patient. They would never see me frustrated because I had a “busy day”. This is the job you signed up for. This job requires you to serve others. If your love language is not acts of service and you only want a paycheck, I suggest you Don’t get in health care! When I addressed the woman about the fact that she called his name and walked away, she went back and forth with me. Ummm ma’am, are you the patient? I think not! Where is your customs service. Even security said she was wrong. This is why I am not fond of the ER or urgent care. It’s like they have lost their sense of compassion for the patients . I don’t get how people can be this way. (Note: not all health care professionals are horrible. You do have some who truly care about their work ethics and treat their patient very well with the upmost of care. This Particular ER just was not good on this night) I commend and highly respect PROFESSIONAL essential workers. I loathe unprofessional rude employees of ANY kind."
"I have been here since 6:00pm with a family member. They were supposed to come down and take him up stairs 4 hrs ago and were still sitting here at 1am. We were told they have a few things to do and it would be another hr after the 2nd time I asked. "The nurse" she forgot to call up stairs. She's said she was doing a new admission. Worst experience ever and I will be contacting the Administrator."
