"Recommendation: KEEP LOOKING! Service was horrible! This attorney is rude! Was unprepared, disorganized, and the few times I did actually speak to her she was extremely brief, acted very disinterested, and in no way prepared me for settlement hearing. During the hearing she didn't have any of the multiple documents I had provided for her, was callous and coy with answers and sat 90% of time working on something that appeared to be unrelated to the hearing! I was very Thankful for the mediator as she is the one that I felt like was invested in what was going on on my side of the case and assisted me with what I needed. Also, there was a very significant settlement in my favor in addition to my attorney's fees that were to be paid by the other party. However, when the final documents were received, the wording was such that there were no attorneys fees included which was something that I very clearly had stated that I wanted throughout the process and had been reassured by my attorney multiple times that I would receive. I did not receive the attorney fees reimbursement and even though an invoice and a total bill had been requested multiple times prior to the hearing, with a complete separate amount being charged for the hearing itself, following the hearing she presented me with another $1,000 bill. After all was said and done with the additional $1,000 owed and what I had already paid prior to that which was far exceeding the retainer. My settlement amount ended up being a little of nothing because it all went to pay her. I spoke with the attorney approximately 40 minutes throughout a 9-month period and was billed for a excessive amount of which I still do not understand. Ms Locke kept telling me that we would have a face-to-face meeting in her office. However, those meetings were scheduled four times and canceled each time. I never even met my attorney face to face due to cancellations on her part, as well as multiple rescheduling of hearings. The entire case should have been a cut and dry which involved a divorce between myself and my ex-spouse and a very serious restraining order. (Which the court granite exparte) It took almost 10 months. It was delayed so much and rescheduled by my attorney so many times that my ex spouses attorney came back scheduled the hearing without any alternative choices because we had exceeded every deadline that there was. I honestly have to shake my head and wonder how this attorney even can hold her license!"
