Reviews of Mary L. Sanders, PhD
"She was very thorough in my sons evaluation. She helped us tremendously by giving us the answers we needed to properly treat my sons illness. Her demeanor was very warm and genuine. I really appreciated that she had a therapy dog to help her patients. Overall, we couldn't have been more satisfied with Dr. Sanders."
"Dr. Sanders did a full assessment on a family member and I can't thank her enough . Her findings helped guide treatment in a way that others could not. I would recommend her without hesitation or reservation."
"I can't be anymore clear. These psychologists are simply the anathema of an oxymoron. The psychologists seem to be the ones needing the psychology more than anyone else. The cognitive dissonance that stems from this office in the form of charlatanism is truly astounding. Truly their whole establishment is an abortion to modern psychology. I went in for an analysis earlier. I've always been an introvert, but I'm not anti-social. This is something a normal person might mix up, but it's truly embarrassing when a psychologist does. I am someone who is very focused on my career. I described that I enjoyed speaking to people and even threw some jokes around, but this psychologist couldn't understand the distinct difference between enjoy a smaller social environment and avoiding humanity in loathing. After making me do multiple tests and telling me that she was sick, before waiting 5 seconds to see if I cared (evidence of her borderline personality) she asked me to play with toys. Yes, she asked someone soon to be a professional college student to to play with toys. She then stated that not playing with dolls and actions figures was evidence that I was autistic. Honestly, shouldn't people be worried about her, an about 30 year old lady smashing the faces of two dolls together as if they were kissing and serving dinner to each other is simply a strange phenomenon. She practically assaulted me with her mirage of a soon to come mid-life crisis, before asking me what I thought about the school system. Although I am a very persistent student, I find many flaws with the way the education system gravitates individuals towards their passions. I feel that having to taking 3 years of a language as a science major is useless and having to take an art class to graduate is simply obsolete. Tests can commonly misrepresent the potential of a student and lead them away from self-confidence. I understand this, because I have ADHD and anxiety. Once again this troglodyte of a psychologist calls this evidence for autism. How dense can you be. This must mean that Neil Degrassi Tyson is autistic along with Einstein, Steven Hawking and Bill gates, all people who have found very successful lives, some with and some without a college education. After this strange encounter that felt like harassment due her need to be nearly right up my face and practically spit on me while talking (hence the reason I didn't make much eye contact) she lied to my parents just like she lied to me and said that she was sick, analyzing them in her own paranoia. I am truly astounded at the lack of education these psychologists have, I am an introvert and I have ADHD and mild anxiety, but I am in no way, shape or form autistic. *I hope anyone who sees this can stay clear of this facility, the psychologists are uneducated and subjective.*"
"My sister lives in the United States. In 2007 she started suffering from anxiety and depression. Unfortunately she started seeing Mary Sanders. We lost our mother when my sister was 16, she was really affected. She became extremely attached to this doctor as she provided her with warmth and care. My sister saw her as a mother symbol. She believed that she will always be there for her. I tried convincing her that she should not trust that much, yet my little sister is like a child, when she trusts she goes all the way. For the first time in her life she had a suicide attempt, after two years she had another. I did not trust that doctor, and I was proven right. After my sister's second attempt, she ended therapy without even telling her, she told her husband. My sister went through what cannot be imagined, and unfortunately I was not there for her. To my surprise and for two years, she still was attached to Mary Sanders, she continued her routine of sending her a gift in December and a card on an American holiday in November, I think thanksgiving. She continued to believe in her despite all the difficulties she faced after she left her. She was unable to find a therapist and asked her for help. Mary filed a protective order against my sister, who is like a child in her feelings and cannot hurt a fly. I predicted what happened in Court before it did, of course she was unable to say anything against Mary whom she saw as a mother, she defended her rather than describe what she put her through and consequently lost the case. I wish I were there to help. She attempted suicide after, she told me that she was unable to cope with what Sanders said about her. She appealed on her own, but Mary had a lawyer and even if she did not, I told my sister that she will lose, given her religious beliefs, no matter what. I saw my sister this year, she is nothing like the person I knew several years ago. I want her to come back to Egypt to get over what happened, yet she cannot. I wish she had never met that therapist"
