"A friend took her cat to get vaccines. Understandably the cat was nervous. The vet tech was professional, on the other hand the Veterinarian had no patience or compassion for the obviously distressed animal. He was overly aggressive when giving the vaccines and had to re poke the cat multiple times. DO NOT RECOMMEND."
"Highland is one of the only veterinary clinics in town that doesn't charge a tail, and a paw and takes last-minute appointments. They are also accepting new patients."
"I took my 15 year old cat there today and was more than pleased. She had been losing weight and peeing in the house outside her litter box. They did bloodwork and urinalysis testing and prescribed 10 antibiotic pills. The tech was very polite and professional. She took my Kittly back for the tests. Dr. Gormley came in and explained the results. I have an appointment in two weeks hopefully with good results. The loss of weight is apparently due to her age."
"We started taking our pets there when we moved to the Northside. I have not liked the atmosphere since day 1. I hate that the “doctor” doesn’t really examine the pets. He barely speaks to the owners. It’s expensive for what! I have called other vets and no one is taking new patients. This place is just nasty and the “doctor” needs to retire!"
"If you love your animals at all I suggest you find another vet for them. My wife & 8 year old daughter took our cat in yesterday for signs of a upper respiratory infection. We had recently took this cat in from being a stray. He was the sweetest cat but had some anxiety issues from being a stray for so long. They took him back to do blood work and that's the LAST time we saw him alive. How does a cat go back for blood work and die? They either threw him into shock or caused him to have a heart attack bc of how much they fought with him. Then as he was laying on the table dying Dr Gormley refused to save him even after my wife asking multiple times while her and my daughter stood there crying. How does a doctor refuse to SAVE A LIFE OR EVEN TRY? All they offered my wife was a body bag to take him home in. My wife & kids were highly upset all night behind this."
