"Near the end of 2020, I was hit by a truck just outside of Indianapolis during what was supposed to be a two-year cross-country tour. Having always been of good health, this was not only a difficult experience because it meant I would have to give up on my dream of touring the States (for now - I will get back out there one day), but also because of the physical and emotional shock that resulted from the accident.
