"Security was tight, metal scanners and cray but it went quick. Beautiful history, missed the tour time for our window but still worth stopping in. Museum was closed too :(."
"What an amazing experience to see where the declaration of indpendence was signed and where it all started. The tour was really informative and the staff was really accommodating to the big group we had. It was raining outside, so they did their best to keep us inside. The tour took a but over an hour because you get some breaks to view the outside area and 3 different buildings. I would recommend buying tickets beforehand as they sell out fast. We went during the summer, and it was a decent wait to get through the security checkpoint and then a small wait before the out started."
"Pleasant way to learn about the history of the nation and how this country was formed. The tour was very informative. The staff was top notch, knowledgeable and polite. Could not ask for a better visit to this historic site. A trip that every citizen has to visit at least once. And if you live nearby, every 10 years or so to appreciate the greatness of this nation and the wisdom of its founders."
"The Liberty Bell is across the street so it was an opportunity to see both of these historic sights. No wait but we did have to take off our coats and go through a scan.We were not charged for either place (but I did see a sign about buying tickets?) My son went in the summer and said the lines were very long,we went the week before Christmas and there wasn't a line at all. I was humbled to take both of these important and fascinating tours, highly recommend!"
"Absolute must see to learn about the history of the country and appreciate what the early Americans went through. You have to make a reservation online and it does fill up so try to do it in advance. The tour lasts about 25 minutes but depends on who you get for a tour guide. Our tour guide was amazing and his voice carried and demonstrated his true passion about the place. It's truly amazing to think about what discussions occurred here and we are lucky to be able to see the building."
