"Id say 3.5 stars I drive otr and after getting a different driver manager my new one always has me rolling and works well with me. Collin wall does a good job communicating he should be told that. My miles are staying up and yeah there's things out of our control like weather or the tractor supply appointment times but thats just apart of the game recently my paychecks have been good 17 to 19 hundred per check when I'm out on the road the only thing that messes it up is home time or weather or some type of repair or maintenance or appointment time. Oh well if I can bring in 1700 to 1900 a week during winter I'm excited for when spring and summer and fall gets here. I try my best to clear 500 to over 600 miles daily thats what I'm here for is to drive I love it! I try to push really hard Most days and get in over 650 miles a day thanks for keeping me rolling yall it's not that bad being a company driver here you just gotta drive your tail end off for it but that's work and life nothing good comes easy or for free you gotta work but the opportunity for the earning potential has to be there. Some negatives is you don't get breakdown pay during the first day and detention pay don't kick in until after 2 hours and most tractor supply places are annoying about the appointment times most won't let you deliver early so if you run hard like me it gets frustrating because I want to get to the next load and keep getting this money Thanks for letting me work here and keeping me employed."
"I attended a two day orientation with this company. The first red flag was when they sent a fellow driver home the first day simply because he made a comment to another driver and that driver went crying about it. The second red flag was the orientation coordinator speaking to a room full of grown men like we were children…and acting as if she had to dumb everything down for us. Pretentiousness off the charts. I was sent home on day three right before I was to be assigned a truck. The terminal manager or whatever her position is inquired about a minor accident I had previously at a different company. After explaining to her exactly what happened complete with pictures and video, she told me they couldn’t hire me. So…why the hell would she even ask me what happened if the decision had been made prior. Nonsensical. I asked to speak with another manager for a second opinion and was told no. They bought me a bus ticket home which is the least they could do seeing as they saw fit to waste 3 days of my time and have me travel all the way to KC for nothing. Perhaps RTI, you should know who you will and won’t employ before sending them to orientation. Lack of structure. The best part of the whole experience was the hotel stay and the food offered in orientation. Companies like this which treat drivers as expendable commodities are trash. Find a company that won’t waste your time because you could be sent packing for anything with these people."
"I’ve worked here for three and a half years, and It’s been a pleasure to be here. I’m valued as a company employee, treated with respect, and they get me home whenever I need to be even at a moments noticed. I love working here and would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to join a company that they can call family."
"Do NOT work for these people. They will lie to you about the job, when you are going to work, and they most certainly will NOT give you consistent miles. In 3 months I went from driving a brand new freightliner, to switching trucks 3 times, having to eventually slip seat with another driver. Make no mistake, these people do not have a place for you to park your trailer or bobtail and it's been going on for a long time. Its ridiculous and shameful EPIC FAILURE of management . I can assure you after 14 yrs as a driver, having driven for most major carriers and then some; these people are MORONS. There is a culture of idiot drivers that believe they are in charge of you, and when you tell them off, YOU become the "Problem". You are not "family" here. They will send you on fools errands looking for trailers that are not there, and they for sure have a high dollar amount in missing equipment. Of course, I walked out, and at the most inconvenient time...because go to hell."
"Great place to work, they went above and beyond to care for my needs, I had to take care of business at home and when I came back out figured I'd try something else. Well after testing 4 other jobs they are still a company I can recommend with a straight face!"
