"Recently renovated, with a new boardwalk and drainage. I would avoid swimming here due to bacteria - water quality is not tested here, and be careful letting dogs roam free due to gators in the bay. Great place to watch the sunset or have a picnic. Pro tip: Visit during heavy rain and you'll see the ravine fill-up with the sound and sights of waterfalls...it will feel like you're in the mountains rather than southern Alabama. Cons: There is no running water and no restroom facility."
"This is a very nice boardwalk and beach area. We love watching the sunset from this location. The only real negatives are the lack of restroom facilities, and the large quantities of debris including glass that wash up on the beach."
