Reviews of Memorial Park
"Nice small park to walk through with your dog, or sit by the fountain, reading a book. It is very shady from all the oak trees. I like how people are always painting the cannon a different color. There is also a Waffle House, Pizza Hut, and a Subway nearby if you get hungry. This park is a short walk from Murphy High School on Carlen Street."
"I like this park and the water fountains. If I ever get married again, I would love for it to be at this park in the Spring time when the colorful flowers are in full bloom. It's a therapeutic location to sit at and read while listening to the gentle waters flowing in the fountains."
"Found more than 21 violations of the National Electrical Code. At least 1 of these violations have bare wires are live and low enough for children to touch."
"I am not given a place to properly comment. I do not think that on the map this is the place some reviewers are describing. I tried to submit an edit but it does not give me a general comment explanation area! I have NOT recently visited this park, it is just in the area where I live and often drive by it. Some reviewers here seem to be describing Langan Park which is miles away from the Downtown Mobile area shown on your map. The Memorial Park shown on your map that is near me, is a much smaller tribute park to World War 1 soldiers and veterans. I really think you need to have a way to make a general comment in your edit function."
"Great place to fly a kite, feed the Ducks and geese, or play a game of disc golf. The park also offers the Mobile Museum of Art. And, just adjacent to the park is our beautiful Botanical Gardens. The botanical gardens are definitely worth a visit."
