About Us
CityWalk Barkery is a unique park located at 815 24th Street North in Birmingham, Alabama. This park is specifically designed for dogs to enjoy and socialize in a safe and peaceful environment. However, there are rules in place to ensure that all visitors, both human and canine, respect the park and each other.
If a dog or human is found to be exhibiting disruptive behaviors that go against park rules, they may be given a strike. Examples of disruptive behaviors include not following park rules or causing disturbances. City Walk Bham follows a 3-strike system, where after a second strike, the individual may be required to participate in a training program and provide documentation from a dog trainer before returning to the park.
In the case of a "substantial event" such as critical injuries to dogs or humans, immediate and possibly permanent removal from the park may occur. Strikes are only given out by park attendants who have witnessed the incident and are approved by management. The individual will be provided with a strike form to read and initial, and will be informed before leaving the park if a strike has been issued.
Please note that after receiving a strike, the individual may be asked to leave the park for the day. CityWalk Barkery is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, and adherence to park rules is essential for the well-being of everyone in the park.

"It is the nicest dog park I've ever been to. Covered in places by the interstate overhead from the sun and well lit at night. AstroTurf everywhere that is cleaned by sprinklers. You have to prove your dog is up to date on shots, pay a membership for one year ($95) and it's good no little kids are allowed that might get hurt by the playing dogs. Three separate areas for dogs let you pick the best place for your pup to play. Beautiful place to visit."

With red mountains dog park 10 minutes down the road I can see why this one was completely empty when we attempted to patron it with our son. Huge disappointment imo. ALSO no children are allowed! I haven’t seen that EVER in a dog park before so didn’t think to look before coming. We just moved to the area with two small dogs and two young kids. We were excited about taking our dogs to a park and let our kids run around and chase them. Nope. Left with disappointed kids."
"My pups absolutely love this park! It is a membership park $10 daily or $95 for a year. You also have to have vaccinations and have your dog(s) fixed. I live in the area and for me it worth it! Sitting areas for the parents while the fur babes tire themselves out!"
