"I took a jacket in to be altered. After trying it on for the first time, I found the sleeves to be uneven and not tailored the way I wanted. I took it back in and the owner said it looked fine. When I insisted it was not what I asked for he took the jacket and said it would be ready on Friday. I returned on Monday on my way out of town for some meetings intending on wearing the jacket once I picked it up only to find out that they didn't have it. Now I have to buy a jacket. Sharp Cleaners has certainly lost my business."

"I've been a happy customer for more than 10 years. At least until this week. The previous owner, Jim Sharp, was always amazing. Congenial and consistently put his customers first. Jim recently retired (sadly) and the new owner is a different bird. He bought the store a few months ago. Earlier this week, I put on a brand new dress shirt, which had been cleaned just a few days prior. It had a noticeable tear on the front near the buttons. Too large to wear again - and too obvious for me not to notice before dropping it off for its initial cleaning. I wore the button down to the cleaners, showed them the damaged shirt and asked about their policy. Was told to come back the next morning when I could speak to the new owner. So I returned the next day - and even brought my store receipt from Brooks Brothers to prove that the shirt was brand new - and fairly pricey. The owner barely glanced at the shirt and quickly proclaimed that it wasn't damaged in his store. He wouldn't even consider the possibility, despite my story ... and strong circumstantial evidence. He muttered something about dishonest people always trying to make false damage claims. I am NOT one of those people, so I'm no longer a customer. If you're looking for a good cleaner, find someone else. Someone who's willing to work with their loyal customers, and even give them the benefit of the doubt on occasion."

"Nice people with quality dry cleaning skills. The tailor charges a good bit but she is good at what she does. Was able to hem my kilt with sewn down pleats. Good work overall."

"The customer service was great and so was the price for the turn around time. I found out last min that we were having a guest stay with us on Thursday night so Monday to took the comforter from the guest room to be dry cleaned. The told me it would be ready by Wednesday after 12. So I called a little after 1 and it was ready. The young lady that took care of me very friendly and professional. I told her I'd be happy to write a review. I got it home after a few more places and when I put it on the bed the stain I pointed out is still there and now there is a huge snag in the fabric. Not very happy!"
