"I dropped off my husband’s suit to be cleaned and his white shirt and it was $25.00 for 3 pieces! That’s kinda pricey and there always seems to be some type of mixup?! Also, when I went in to pick up the suit some young guy was in the front and all he said was, what’s the phone number and do you want a receipt and when the transaction was done he walked off! I’ve had better service elsewhere and there are plenty of places a tad bit less expensive too."

WOW ... i dont even live near the store any more ... but still use them for all my needs .... easy on, easy off I65 ... great supporters of community and suroundng High Schools ... One time Danny drove to the store 2 hours after closing so i could get my clothes for an early morning trip ... "Brought a very expensive Sherri Hill prom dress in for alterations. The alteration lady was nice but the work wasn’t performed to our satisfaction. Called and spoke to the manager to explain that we were very unhappy. I was hoping to be reimbursed if not fully at least partially for the poor work. I was told the owner would call me. He didn’t, so I called him back and was treated so rudely. He told me that I should have brought the dress back for the alteration lady to repair but with less than a week to prom and my confidence in her work gone, I decided to take the dress to someone else that unfortunately had to redo the sloppy and incorrect work. The owner went on the attack when I spoke with him and refused to make any monetary reparation for the poor work. Instead he was accusatory towards me and claimed the dress was defective and that I had issue with the charges. We’ll mr owner- I don’t mind paying for great work but this customer will never darken your door again! Can not recommend this place to anyone!"

"I had bought a suit to wear for my grandfather's funeral. At the time I owned a truck and with all my children and mother inside I had to place our luggage in the bed area. On the way back home it rained. Mildew ended up building up on the suit. I took it to Watkins Cleaners in an attempt to salvage it. That was roughly ten days ago. Today I go to pick it up and a male employee brings it up to the counter in a black trash bag and tells me they could not fix it. I then ask for them to give me the suit protector I had given them the suit in. The man told one of the employees to find it. I then began to open the bag to look at the suit and the man says please remove the suit from the counter because he did not want it to get the counter dirty. I told him that I was not going to put the suit on the counter. He said you were about to. I told him no I was not. That I was only looking at the suit and he was making an assumption. I then noticed that it appeared that the suit had not been attempted to be clean. So I ask if it had. The man replied it couldn't be fixed and I said how do you know if you didn't try. To add to this I was asked on the original pickup date of Friday (06/07/19) if they could have more time to try and clean it. With the man's negative attitude toward me, and their failure to try, I said I will report this. The man responded back "Who are you going to report this to" in a sarcastic tone. "There is no one you can report it to". I then educated him on the fact that there were many ways to report it by writing a review on all the various sites. He said, "So, good luck with that, we will still be here" . I stated not if you continue to treat customers this way. I then asked the guy if this was a family owned business and if he was part of the family. He stated "Yes". Then the guy said I know where you work at. I said : Oh yeah, where. He stated a business. I advised him that I did not work there but was rather a retired U.S. Army veteran. I then explained that because I had worn a shirt with their logo on it didn't mean I worked for someone and that he was making another assumption. I asked him if he was a member of the family business and he said yes. I said I assume the father owns this business and would like to talk to him. He said about what, he was the one that told me to give you back the suit. I said about your bad attitude and how you attack his customers. He said. It would not matter. I said if I was the owner and my son talked to my customers that way I would have a problem with it. They were not able to locate my suit protector but replaced it with another one. After that, I left. If I was the owner of a business that I allowed my son to work in and represent me and he treated my customers the way he did me today. I would fire him. Especially, if I had worked all my life to build that business and make sure it had a good name behind it. I then took my suit right around the corner to a competive cleaners. Not only did they say they would try to clean it but the price was three times less than what Watkins wanted to charge me, I have used this cleaner before and highly recommend it over Watkin's. They are Spin Cleaners."
