"We have had pretty good experiences with this place before but when we picked up our dog the most recent time the register was down. At that time my dad did not have cash and asked to run to the car quickly and grab money and come back quickly and pay. The lady said no, and then said she would keep our dog in the store till he paid. We have been loyal customers for a year now and are disappointed with the customer service."

"A Paw Place is spectacular. We got a puppy during the pandemic thinking that since one of us worked remotely we would have the flexibility for those tough first few months since he was a couple months old. We were definitely wrong! But, A Paw Place swooped in and helped us out with playing and walking our puppy, then taking him to doggie day care when he became old enough. We used them a bunch for boarding and went to their store to get his food as well. They were/are incredible. The staff are so caring and sweet. Hyde Park/Kenwood is so lucky to have this establishment!"

"It is so wonderful to have a variety pet services in Hyde Park! I recently had my Cairn Terrier, Pippin, groomed at A Paw Place. He is a double-coated coarse-haired terrier. Kyle did a fantastic job! I wanted to keep the natural waterproof, insulating characteristics of Pippin's coat. Kyle used a coat stripping tool on his coat with a trim on his face, feet, and fanny! Pippin is so stinkin' cute. I highly recommend A Paw Place grooming services."

"I've had a great experience with A Paw Place from using their dog walking and pet sitting services to getting pet supplies from the store front. I somehow ended up with a new dog in the middle of medical residency and have been really fortunate to build a relationship with A Paw Place staff to efficiently and effortlessly set up dog walks and pet sitting during long works days or overnight shifts. I can genuinely say that without A Paw Place it wouldn't have been possible to care for my dog during this time. My dog also loves visiting the store every couple of weeks to pick up her food and the store staff always remember her. I am conscientious about the type of food that she eats and try my best to incorporate raw food into her diet. The store offers raw food brands like Primal Pronto and a variety of raw food meal add-ins that aren't offered at other main stream pet stores. Overall, I recommend A Paw Place to every new (and existing) dog owner - the place doesn't just provide helpful services but also moral support to take care of your pet!
