"Overall, I'm very happy with the finished result. I'm very grateful to Murray for his creative ideas. When I was stubborn in wanting things a certain way, he found a way to make it work. I'm also very grateful to Joyce and Ashley, "the Finishers". Those ladies get things done! They are filled with joy and are a lot of fun to be around. Thanks also to Jimmy and Thomas for building the foundation and raising the ceiling. The higher ceiling makes a huge difference. Special thanks to Edmund and his wife for the beautiful tile work. It's absolutely stunning. Having said all that, it was a disappointing experience overall. I signed a contract in July but work was not started until December. I was told this was my fault because I hadn't purchased a shower valve. Otherwise, they would have started in October. Still a far cry from July. After work started, I never knew when they would show up to work. Even if they said they would, it didn't mean anything, I came to find out. Sometimes weeks would go by without any work being completed and nothing would be communicated to me as to why or when they would return. Finally, after 5 months, my 48 square foot bathroom was finished. Yes, you read that right - 5 months to reno a 48 sq ft bathroom in the same footprint. I know someone who had a second story added to their house in less time. Of course, I was also blamed for how long it took because I changed my mind "so much". While you're waiting, you start rethinking things, that's all I'm saying. Sometimes, I didn't actually change my mind. There was just bad or no communication about things. Plus, I don't think changing my mind explains why no one showed up to work for an entire month (after all changes were completed, btw). It's not actually 100% finished. After the sink was installed, it spontaneously exploded. My theory is it was fastenened too tightly. However, they said it will cost extra to install the sink when I receive the replacement. They work in my neighborhood all the time but can't take a few minutes to do this for me when it was more than likely their fault. Nice customer service, don't ya think? The stress of the past 5 months has been intense. This is far from my first renovation project but I've never had one so poorly managed. So even though the work was very nicely done, I would not even consider contracting with this company again. Bottom line - they're very nice people and they did a good job but apparently they don't treat all their jobs/clients equally. If you have a small job or they don't like you or you've paid over 50% of the estimate, they don't seem to be particularly interested in getting your project finished in a reasonable timeframe. Ultimately, I don't recommend this company."

"Eddie came at a prompt time for the estimate. Very professional and knowledgable. We exchanged some questions and answers, and were told that his workers would not be liable for any damages they create. Although a little concerned, we were still interested in his services and he said he'll have an estimate in a day or two. It's been a month we still haven't heard from him."

"Eddie Dorough is by far the best remodeling contractor I've ever worked with. e gave me a straightforward estimate on what it would cost to fix my kitchen cabinets, dining room, walk-in pantry, and garage after a major flood I had, caused by a burst pipe. His bid was thousands less than everyone else's, and his invoice matched the estimate exactly. He left the worksite extremely clean each day, worked fast, and did an absolutely beautiful job. It's like the flood never happened. I'd recommend him to anyone. He'll be doing all of my home improvements from now on. Five stars!"
