"My son had been a patient of Dr Yancy since he was 6 months .. I do not have one complaint about him as a Dr .. I do however have an issue with his staff that answers the phone .. they have always been slightly rude but since trying to switch my son's Dr it has gotten worse ! The first call I made to get his medical records released I was told I couldn't request a copy or come to pick up a copy his new Dr office had to send a request.. since I had never heard of this I was trying to ask questions for better understanding of the process when the woman went completely silent on me and stated she wasn't going to argue with me.. after getting nowhere I called his new Dr and was able to have them send a release form .. so I call Dr Yancy office to follow up about the turn around time when I was hung up on.. so glad to be switching atp .. again Dr Yancy is AMAZING it is the staff phone staff !"

"*Just moved to Indy. *Dr. Eric Yancy was recommended to me so I chose him as my son's primary care physician. *Unfortunately and unexpectedly, my son had his first seizure one week before his appointment with Dr. Yancy. *My son's school said he would need a seizure protocol document. *The hospital that serviced my son said that primary care physicians can see patients on an emergency basis for something like that. *Called Dr. Yancy's office, explained what happened, Dr. Yancy refused to provide the document since he hadn't seen him. *Took my son to Dr. Yancy's office as an emergency visit; literally beg them to see my son and or at least provide the seizure protocol document. *Waited 15 minutes just for them to tell us that he would not issue the seizure protocol document and could not see my son. *My fiancée's colleague recommended another physician who, upon hearing our story, immediately saw my son the next day, provided the seizure protocol document and referred us to a neurologist, who saw us 2 days later. * So a PCP and a specialist both saw my son on the emergency basis when Dr. Yancy, who was originally listed as a PCP would not. *I don't care how well known a doctor is supposed to be, I would NEVER, EVER recommend anyone to Dr. Yancy. *I have worked with doctors, in another state for 10 years. When a doctor is that rigid, has poor customer service combined with a LACK OF EMPATHY - That is a dangerous combination."

"My kids have seen Dr Yancy since birth (my oldest is 10).. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience, he doesn’t prescribe medication for every little thing and any questions I have are answered. He’s been a doctor for like 100yrs and is extremely knowledgeable. Very professional and friendly staff. We live it here"

"Only reason I put one star is because I had to. First off let me start by saying the staff is SO RUDE that I’ve never even had a chance too meet the doctors that are in this office. But the women that work the front desk are very disrespectful in person and on the phone. And I know the doctors have to be aware of this cause you hired these people. I did not personally pick my children’s doctors they were given and I tried not once but three times to excuse to continuously combative receptionist that work here but it’s un tolerable honestly. Being a hard working mother and having to call of to take your kids to a rude and dishonest doctors office is scary. These people are dealing with your children’s health and personal information and the way they treat paying patients is ridiculous. I’m tremendously offend. On the date of December 1,2021 my child had a doctors appointment at 1:30pm. I arrived at their door at 1:31pm. I was greet 15 mins later to a women with a clipboard stating I needed to complete paperwork before being seen. It took me 2 minutes to complete paperwork. After waiting for a total of 25 minutes without being called back I asked how far behind the doctor was. With a attitude the receptionist stated that I was late and that the doctor isn’t behind. I didn’t respond but clearly I’ve been here for over 30 mins and still haven’t been seen. And it’s a 15 mins grace period on arrivals and I arrive 1 minute late. But why are you being argumentative with your paying patients who call off work to bring their children during a pandemic. So after waiting another 15 mins I decided to reschedule the appointment. Second incident was on December 16th,2021. I called to confirm my child’s appointment and the receptionist told me with an aggressive tone the the doctors name was DR. Yancy, not yancy now mind you some people don’t know that not saying DR Infront if their last name is disrespectful. Now in my head I’m thinking what does this have to do with me confirming my child’s appointment. Once again a very argumentative staff. I just hung up on deliberately in my face. I called back to get that staff members name was placed on hold to retrieve that information and was hung up on again. I called back the third time to speak to a hire up and was met with combativeness from a different representative. I asked for names and was told “I won’t be providing that”. I work for a medical insurance company and I will not be treated like this laying down. I will be reporting to BBB and iu directly about this office and their poor customer services."
