"I would not recommend Dr. Nix. She needs a refresher on communicating with new parents and respecting their wishes. Particularly new mother's. The first visit with my son she didn't introduce herself and started the appointment by correcting my feeding position. 3 days postpartum and the last thing we want to do wait to do is wait 20-30 minutes with a newborn after already arriving 20 minutes PRIOR to the appointment. Over 2 hours spent at the office. I will never forgot that encounter. It is a privilege to treat a baby and she specifically said that she hates the baby stage. Do better IU, you lost a patient."

"I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Nix. Not only is she very accommodating with my children she also makes sure to check on my well-being. She always makes sure that my kids are comfortable and all my questions are answered. She has been with my youngest since birth and I wouldn’t have it any other way."

"We are new to Dr Nix as of this year but have been very happy with the care my son and daughter have received. She always sits and takes time to listen . I don’t feel rushed during our visits and she always validates my concerns. I was most touched when she took time away from her family to check on us after a trip to er. We are very happy to have found her for our pediatrician"

"Dr. Nix is truly a great doctor. I wish we could have kept her for my son. I had the displeasure of meeting the office manager of the pediatric office where Dr. Nix practices. The experience was unfavorable as she came into the room where I was ALONE WITH MY SON to reprimand me about my mask being below my nose and insisted that I comply or she refused to leave the room and the doctor would not see my son. Again, I was in a room alone with my son. Does an office manager really need to micromanage patients to this level? When I started asking her questions about the request she became very defensive and the conversation became very heated. I will not put my child back in a negative environment like that.. that’s not how adults act. We have since found another doctor at another office with a little more tact. Some of you may read this review and not understanding where the problem lies.. in which case this office is probably for you."
