"Told them I am waiting until 6 months to start vaccinating, stated my reasons, my science education background, and was told I’d have to get caught up by 4 months. LOL. Never went back and that was months ago. Found a doctor who respected my wishes. Just FYI SW pediatrics, this isn’t tyranny and parents DO have a say in when, and what happens to their child. Your job is to educate, advise, get informed consent. Not to coerce nor set deadlines on parents"

"Very disappointed in the service the last 6 months or so. My son has been getting sick, getting others sick, getting fevers and sore throats and EVERY time we go in it gets passed off as allergies and get told to give him Claritin and Benadryl. It is very obviously not allergies, my other son has had an ear infection for several weeks, still has fluid in his ears today and we get told ‘it’s fine don’t worry about it’ as my son is crying and pulling at his ears, coughing and clearly uncomfortable/ in pain. Every time we go in we get a different doctor and it makes it difficult to follow up as I have to explain the whole situation multiple times, backtracking weeks and months. Very impersonal. I’d also like to add that my kids have been put on an ‘inactive’ list while we’re paying off the bill (under $200) without any notice. Payments don’t get taken out on time as agreed with payment arrangement. Communication is awful as there is none from them. So much nonsense I can write a book. Don’t take your kids here, it will cost you your child’s health and sanity."

"I called Thursday regarding my daughter having a a diaper rash that was starting to bleed and requested nystatin. I also noted she could be teething but was pulling at her ears and just overly fussy. The nurse put in a note for the doctor and told me to call the following day if I had not heard back. I called the following day as instructed. The nurse I spoke to at that time not so kindly reminded me the doctor was in the office but he had appointments and would get to my note/request when he had the time. I never received a call back that day either. They did not call me back today and are now closed until Monday. So, I’ll probably have to go to an urgent care rather than wait 5 days for a call that at this point I don’t believe will even occur. I like the doctor, but to be spoken to like a child when I called back after being instructed to do so, and then still not receive a call back is ridiculous."

"I have been bringing my children here since 1999. SW Peds have taken care of all my children’s needs, checkups, sports physicals, and same day sick visits if you call them early enough during the day. They have a great team of Doctors and their Nurses that are just a phone call away and are very helpful in coordinating all their healthcare needs and referrals when needed. They always answer all my questions or any concerns. The four stars are because of a miscommunication when I switched our insurance coverage."

"I’m very impressed with this practice. Competent and caring physicians, welcoming staff, flexible hours, etc. The one time our middle child was very sick, doc returned the after hours page within 15 min and set up an appointment for first thing the morning for him to be seen. Communication was excellent, as it always is. Highly recommended."
