"After watching Reverb, I was left with an enormous amount of emotions. This genius and beautifully put together piece of art had me laughing out loud and tearing up almost at the same time. Throughout the film I caught myself pausing and thinking about a lot of the things that have been happening in my life and around me. "As an OLD alumni, Reverb was our first non-linear virtual event. I'm not sure how randomly selecting our next segment added any value to the piece; perhaps it leapt from "We don't want to impose our timeline on you" but it felt akin to picking a 'face down' card for a magic trick...we had no personal stake in the resulting scenario. But it's comforting to know that students today are just as earnest and sure of things as they have always been; they'll be as surprised as I was how their next 50 years will cause them to smile ruefully when looking back. :-) EDIT: I entered in Fall 1972 and never left, retiring in 2010. Collected a BA and an MPA along the way. I was never "in" Theater/Music, but did serve on various committees with Bill Raffeld and Bill Kaplan circa 1998."
