"I was a new patient that was referred to this doctor by my pcp. When she came in, she immediately asked why I was at the cancer center to begin with because my symptoms didn’t seem to coincide with cancer at all. I have several nodules on my liver. The word cancer was used as an option and my dr and I wanted to rule out any possibility. My mom was recording the conversation because she just had tongue surgery (7x cancer survivor herself) and couldn’t talk much to her to ask questions and we have been to several drs so we need to get our appts in line. We were immediately scolded by this dr about recording her and made it very uncomfortable the rest of the appointment. Learn how to do better bedside manner. Glad I’m not going back"
