"My cousin was very ill with carcinoid cancer and I took her to all of her appts. In the beginning her dr was Dr Lourdes and she was simply amazing!! Then she (Dr Lourdes) moved to Florida. Dr koneru is the coldest, non compassionate, cruel dr that I have ever met. She asked my cousin what her pain level was and she answered that she cried every day due to pain so she would say a 9-10. This dr told her she didn’t look like a 10 maybe she was a 4-6!!! This dr did not tell her that her kidneys were failing (she had her lab results), her regular physician admitted her to the hospital and the e r physician said she should have been admitted 4-5 days earlier!! She had lost so much weight under this dr’s care, she couldn’t eat, had constant diarrhea and was constantly told that this was a slow growing cancer, go home and come back in 6 weeks!!! My cousin went into the hospital on September 2 for her kidneys/bladder surgery for 2 weeks then to the nursing home for rehab. 2 weeks later back to the hospital for more kidney surgery and bile duct surgery for 2 weeks!! Then back to the nursing home for rehab. One more trip to the hospital and then hospice. She passed away October 30 and weighed 65 pounds. My cousin was begging for intervention and help and was told repeatedly to go home and come back in 6 weeks. I wouldn’t take my dog to this dr."
