"From start to finish, my experience with the Franciscan Health Breast Care Center has been disappointing. For my first appointment I sat in a waiting room for 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. The registration desk rep would not allow me to wait in my vehicle, so I sat in a hospital waiting room during Covid for 45 minutes unnecessarily. When a follow-up exam was needed, it was an absolute nightmare trying to speak with competent person in billing. No one would provide an estimate for services, and when I opted for self-pay, the amount due changed with every person I spoke to. Two tests were written-up when only one was certain to be necessary, and they refused to cancel that second test, as the registration rep claimed it was a ‘bundle’ service. Upon arriving the day of the service, I waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes after my appointment time only to be told it would at least another half hour before I was seen. I canceled the service, called for a refund and will never enter the Breast Care Center again."
