"She made my girlfriend feel completely invisible and unheard. She also lacks a great amount of compassion and understanding. My girlfriend was dealing with a lot and was crying silently. Dr. Murphy takes one look at her and dismisses her with "Maybe you should come back on another day." Wow, and this is supposed to be someone who deals with women and their hormones? She pointed out my girlfriend's scars and it made her extremely uncomfortable. The visit was not related to the scars at all. She also failed to focus on the issue that was the initial reason for the visit. Just kind of dismissed us with birth control, which did not help at all. It actually only made her condition worse. Felt like a waste of time, and as if we were being bullied, to be honest. What has happened to compassion and professionalism in the medical field? She clearly doesn't have it. I don't recommend her, at ALL and I truly hope other women will read this review so that they can avoid a terrible experience of their own."

"Worst experience ever. I have been in severe pain for the last 3-4 weeks. I was given very poor quality care by Dr. Murphy. The office stuff was very nice and kind though. They helped me to get an appointment with Dr. Murphy very quick and the nurse that took me to the doctor’s room was nice as well. The last time I saw Michelle Murphy 6 months ago. I came with pelvic pain. The advised me to try to take birth control for at least 3-6 months and see how I feel. I started to take birth control and started to feel better. I still had some hard painful days but overall I was much better. Unfortunately this month in March I don’t know why but I started to feel much more worse. Pain appeared and not going away for 3 weeks already. Been taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen non stop. I was in the emergency 4 days ago and today I saw Dr. Murphy. I was looking forward for this visit. Sadly and it was very shock to me, during the whole visit she didn’t take me serious at all, she didn’t take my pain serious at all. Her first question was “so what do you wanna do now?” When it’s me who is patient and it’s me who should ask this question to a doctor and the doctor should guide patient to the next step. During the whole visit she treated me like I’m dumb person, she gave me attitude and she mistreated me as a patient when I started to express to her how much I’m in pain and having tears in my eyes. She just left the room!! Was I treated this way because I’m Russian? I left the office in tears because I don’t understand why the doctor was talking to me this way the whole visit. I feel very discriminated. I’m not gonna leave it this way. Patients shouldn’t be treated like this!! Patients should be treated with care and kindness!!! Please don’t go and waste your time on this doctor!"

"I was having issues with my current OB/GYN and decided to change. I called Dr. Murphy’s office. I got an appointment within one week. I walked into her office, checked in, within a minute I was taken back by the friendliest, happiest staff member that I’ve ever experienced! I was in and out in less than 25 minutes with a full exam took as much time as I needed with the Doctor. what a refreshing experience!!!"

"I have been going to Dr. Murphy for gynecological services for several years now. Each visit, I leave feeling satisfied that my questions were answered and reassured that I am in her care. What I appreciate most is that she considers the whole person (nutrition, mental health, emotional well being, etc) when evaluating an issue. I can't imagine going anywhere else!"
